Transforming UX of Financial Software

This was a question I was asked regularly over the 4 years we helped transform Design Operations at this client. After being brought in with a small team to examine and reimagine their new account onboarding process, we built and managed a 12-person cross-disciplinary UX|UI team that completely revamped their product design methodology.
We were tasked to architecturally and aesthetically merge multiple outdated legacy systems into a streamlined, modern platform. Introduce uniform user patterns, implement a new design system, and enhance UI development speed.

The strategy harnessed and amplified system-level functionalities—such as navigation, search, sorting, and filtering data—to replicate the full spectrum of application-level capabilities meticulously. This approach facilitated the development of a contemporary platform design, a uniform experience across all pre-existing applications, and consistent user interaction throughout the ecosystem.
