Time flies when you’re having fun. The first quarter of 2021 has already come and gone, but it’s already shaping up to be quite a year for Being Design. In the last five months alone, we’ve opened up a second location in Scottsdale, AZ, we’ve completed the biggest project of our six-year history, and we’ve added five people to our team, making for a total of seven. And as if that wasn’t enough good news, Design Rush has selected us as one of the top 20 web designers in Philadelphia, specifically in the B2B website category. And it’s only April!
What’s next for Being Design?
We’ve got a lot project in the works, but here are a few sneak peeks at what’s coming down the road.
Improved hosting with “Plugin Protection Plan”
We’re proud to announce that starting May 1st, we will now offer our “Plugin Protection Plan” as standard on all hosting packages. This groundbreaking service uses AI and machine learning to analyze available plugin updates and scans them for potential glitches, bugs, or site-breaking side effects. If a bug is found, the plugin update is skipped or rolled back. If no issues are found, the update is conducted automatically. These scans are conducted once a week. This means an end to security vulnerability due to plugin conflicts and outdated code.
New maintenance plans and time blocks
Also starting May 1st, we’re offering a variety of tiered maintenance plans or prepaid time blocks at competitive rates. Not only does this allow us to prioritize your requests, it also allows us to more effectively delegate tasks in order to maximize your return on investment. Maintenance plans are paid on the first of the month. Any unused hours from one month will be credited to the following month, but not beyond. Should you need additional hours, these will be added to your next bill. If additional hours exceed 50% of the existing plan, you will be invited to upgrade. If you have some small requests now, but don’t anticipate a regular monthly need, you may also purchase a static time block instead of a monthly plan.
New knowledge base and support portal
Starting June 1st, we’ll be unveiling a new knowledge base complete with support articles and video tutorials. In addition to a collection of general tutorials applicable to all websites, the knowledge base will also include private sections for each client account that will house all support articles that are specific to that account or project.
These are just a few of the new developments on the horizon. Stay tuned for more updates!
